Every spring, GRASPP holds a private investigation on the S.S. City of Milwaukee for a full weekend. Their team of around two dozen come from all corners of Michigan, and the Midwest, bringing different experiences, opinions, equipment, and techniques. One of their favorite cases has been the City of Milwaukee. The City of Milwaukee is a railroad carferry, built in 1931 for the Grand Trunk Railroad. She ferried railcars, automobiles, and passengers between Milwaukee, WI, and Muskegon, MI, until 1978, when she was leased to the Ann Arbor Railroad operating out of Elberta/Frankfort, MI.
